SwineTex offers training on a wide range of topics and in a variety of formats. Our training focuses on a mastery of the fundamentals of pork production. Standard programs are available or custom programs can be developed to meet a client's specific needs.
SwineTex's consulting services cover all areas of swine production management. We are available on a limited or ongoing basis to help clients identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies for addressing those opportunities and, most importantly, ensuring that clients get results.
SwineTex and our travel partner, Trip LT Travel, are offering tours of the USA Swine Industry. These tours are designed for foreign visitors who want to learn more about the US industry and/or evaluate potential US-based suppliers of products and services.
SwineTex is available to assist with the technical aspects of the due diligence process and to support non-technical people with technical issues related to pork production businesses.
We are also available to provide market analysis and general industry knowledge for suppliers of products and services to the swine industry.
I believe I owe it to my clients to ensure that I am a capable, knowledgeable and qualified practitioner in each area in which I consult or train. My area of expertise is live swine productivity and swine systems management and operations.
There are many relevant disciplines that have direct application to my client's businesses including genetics, nutrition and veterinary medicine. Animal productivity and management exists at the center of all of the disciplines and touches each in unique ways.
I will venture into these areas as my expertise allows especially as it directly relates to productivity or management. For example, I am a firm believer that day to day management practices can have a profound impact on animal health. I will gladly advise my clients on management strategies that are supportive of improving and protecting animal health. I will not, however, make recommendations on specific treatments for animals as that is an area that requires veterinary consultation.
I am not only willing, but eager to coordinate my efforts with existing veterinarians, geneticists, nutritionists and other professionals. If a client needs further support in these areas, I’m always happy to recommend a professional with the proper expertise.
